With nearly twenty years of experience as a specialist teacher - and as a parent of children with additional needs - I understand the overwhelming pressure of navigating endless advice from websites, professionals and books while searching for what truly works for your child.

At Great Expectations Education, I provide personalised coaching tailored to your needs. Whether you’re a parent or a professional, I’m here to listen, guide you through your next steps, offering expert advice, valuable resources, and actionable strategies to confidently support your child's growth and well-being.

Coaching is bespoke, but could include:

  • Practical Support for Offline Learners: Gain expert advice to optimise learning at home for children who struggle with online tuition. We’ll review current strategies and resources, with optional ongoing support available via WhatsApp to keep you on track.

  • Decoding Diagnostic Reports: Understand complex evaluations and build a clear, actionable plan to support your child’s progress.

  • Navigating the UK SEN System: Get step-by-step guidance to understand the world of special educational needs, with insights from both a seasoned SEN professional and a fellow parent carer.

  • Thriving Post-Diagnosis: Feel less overwhelmed and more empowered with a roadmap to effective first steps, the best resources, and key organisations to turn to for support.

  • Disabled Living Allowance: support through the initial form filling.

  • Coaching for school staff who are working with students on a 1:1 or small-group basis, can also access online coaching to enhance their practice. These sessions can also be booked as stand-alone sessions, with the option to arrange follow-ups as required. Please get touch via email to discuss this further.

Not every question needs a full consultation or weekly tuition. Sometimes, you just want to check something, share a worry, or hear from someone who gets it.

My Message-Based Support offers calm, flexible help through WhatsApp — designed to fit around your family’s rhythm.

You can send a message when it suits you, and I’ll reply when I’m next available — no need to be online at the same time. All support is offered within term-time hours and clear, respectful boundaries.

With nearly 20 years of experience supporting children with additional needs, I offer thoughtful, personalised advice — always delivered with care, clarity, and kindness.

Monthly Support Packages

Whether you need occasional check-ins or more regular guidance, there’s a package to suit your family’s unique rhythm. As your needs evolve, you can adjust your support level accordingly.

Light Support – £18/week

For families needing light-touch guidance with a personalised consultation.

  • Up to 2 WhatsApp responses per week

  • 1 x 55-minute Zoom consultation at the start of the package

  • Resource recommendations, with the option to request bespoke resources

  • A 10% discount on items in my shop

    (Optional add-on: £80/55 minutes per Zoom consultation)

Moderate Support – £30/week

For families needing light-touch guidance with a personalised consultation.

  • Up to 3 WhatsApp responses per week

  • 1 x 55-minute Zoom consultation at the start of the package

  • Resource recommendations, with the option to request bespoke resources

  • A 15% discount on items in my shop

    (Optional add-on: £80/55 minutes per Zoom consultation)

Plus Support – £45/week

The most comprehensive tier - ideal for families needing deeper support, regular check-ins, and full access to everything I offer. This option suits learners who might benefit academically from tuition, but for whom tuition would be challenging in other ways.

  • Up to 5 WhatsApp responses per week

  • 1 x 55-minute Zoom consultation per half term

  • Resource recommendations, with the option to request bespoke resources

  • 1 free shop resource per half term, plus a 15% discount on additional items

    (Optional add-on: £80/55 minutes per Zoom consultation)

Intro Support – £8/week

For families wanting occasional guidance, without ongoing chat.

  • Up to 1 WhatsApp response per week - ideal for occasional check-ins or simple questions

  • Resource recommendations, with the option to request bespoke resources

  • A 5% discount on items in my shop

  • No Zoom consultation included

    (Optional add-on: £80/55 minutes per Zoom consultation)

All WhatsApp support is designed to fit around family life - you can message when it suits you, and I’ll reply when I’m next available during term time. Replies aren’t instant and this isn’t a live service, but I’ll always respond as promptly as I can within your chosen support limits

  • All support is offered during Buckinghamshire school term times.

  • Each package has a clear response limit to keep support sustainable.

  • Unused responses or consultations do not roll over to the following half term.

  • Fees are charged on a half-termly basis, and due before the commencement of each half term.

  • She gave me guidance around putting theory into practice, getting on top of organisational skills and planning, building in elements of cumulative learning, varied approaches to over-learning, a range of multi-sensory and practical strategies, as well as health and safety aspects, engaging delivery, and working towards clearly set long term child-centred goals.
