I’ve not applied for an EHCP for over 9 years, but am currently looking into it for a different son. These are the resources I’ve found so far:

IPSEA’s guide is here, they provide a template letter for you to use. The LA has to respond within 6 weeks, this is the IPSEA template letter when they don’t.
